Big Island Grown (B.I.G.) Hilo made history as the First Medical Cannabis Dispensary to open on the Big Island of Hawaii. The dispensary is a true Farm to Patient experience with a diverse selection of high-quality Big Island Grown cannabis flowers and products.

The project was an interior fit-out of an existing 1-story building. The primary focus of the project was the customer-facing sales area, but the scope of work also included the incorporation of an educational space in the waiting area, as well as administrative offices, and a receiving area.

The space was designed to a have a clean, modern look while also incorporating natural elements and sufficient lighting due to the fact that no windows were allowed within the sales area, as per state law. Particular attention was also paid to the display cases and mill work.
